DOJ Closes Civil Rights-Era School Desegregation Case in Louisiana
The Department of Justice has closed a Louisiana school desegregation case that lasted over 50 years, declaring that it has “corrected a historical injustice” by “liberating” the Plaquemines Parish School Board from federal supervision.
