Donald Trump faced expulsion from his Manhattan civil trial after repeatedly ignoring a warning to keep quiet. Trump made remarks while writer E Jean Carroll testified that he destroyed her reputation after she accused him of sexual abuse.
Judge Lewis A Kaplan warned Trump that his right to be present at the trial would be revoked if he remained disruptive. Despite this warning, Trump continued to make remarks, including “it is a witch hunt” and “it really is a con job”.
‘You can’t control yourself’
Judge Kaplan warned Trump that he could be excluded from the trial if he continued to be disruptive. Trump responded by saying “I would love it”. After the hearing, Trump called the judge “a nasty judge” and a “Trump-hating guy”.
Trump’s legal battles have become a part of his campaign to once again run for president. He has made appearances in court and at rallies while still involved in various legal fights.
