Donald Trump gives supporters a chance to own a piece of the suit he wore at the Biden debate

Donald Trump is promoting a new set of digital trading cards, offering a physical version to supporters with a piece of the suit he wore during a debate with Joe Biden that eventually led to him withdrawing from the presidential race.

Mr Trump introduced the America First collection through a video on his Truth Social account, revealing that buyers of 15 cards will receive a physical trading card.

These cards contain a small fragment of the suit he wore during the debate with President Biden, and Mr Trump has personally autographed five of them, randomly, as mentioned.

“They’re calling it the knockout suit,” he explains.

Mr Biden’s poor performance in the debate ultimately led to his withdrawal from the presidential race, making way for US Vice President, Kamala Harris.

The cards are priced at $99 (£75) each and can be a great gift for “your family, your kids, your grandchildren,” representing a piece of American history, he affirms.

If one purchases 75 cards ($7,425/£5,625), they will be invited to a gala dinner with the Republican White House nominee at his Jupiter, Florida country club, in addition to receiving the physical card.

Ordering 250 cards will include two tickets to the dinner and cocktail reception, along with two physical cards, states his website.

The commercial encourages viewers to act quickly as the cards are expected to sell out fast.

The screen showcases images of the cards, featuring Mr Trump holding the US flag, sporting boxing gloves with ‘Trump’ on them in red, white, and blue colors.

In various images, he is depicted with a roaring lion, positioned behind a bison, and even dressed as a superhero holding a bitcoin.

He mentions that people are calling him ‘the crypto president’.

All the images, also visible on the CollectTrumpCards website, appear edited to make him appear younger, leaner, and muscular, with one image showcasing him with impressive biceps.

A final animated image depicts him throwing a punch in boxing gloves with the message “fight, fight, fight,” with the gloves changing from ‘Trump’ to ‘Knockout’ as he strikes.

A previous offer allowed card buyers to potentially acquire gold and silver baseball-style shoes and boots.

The advertisement sparked significant online backlash, with anti-Trump Republicans commenting negatively on X: “Imagine voting for this fraudster.”

Another X user labeled him “a con artist and a joke,” questioning supporters, “why do you continue to send him money??”

A third individual criticized his treatment of the suit, likening it to the Turin Shroud.

Several humorous interpretations emerged, depicting a muscular Mr Trump shirtless, wearing revealing underwear. In other depictions, he is shown alongside the Devil and engaging in a kiss with Vladimir Putin.
