US election latest: Trump makes bizarre IVF claim
America PAC has faced challenges in hiring canvassers in recent months, having terminated contracts with two major contractors since July who were in charge of door-to-door campaigning.
In response to the disclosure, Musk mentioned on social media that America PAC is “just striving for common sense, centrist values”.
The billionaire priorly aligned with the Democrats but has recently emerged as a vocal supporter of Mr. Trump.
He has pledged assistance in campaign efforts and even appeared on stage with the Republican candidate at a campaign rally earlier this month in Pennsylvania.
At the event, Musk – who heads Tesla and SpaceX – energetically moved about on stage and characterized the upcoming presidential election as a “must-win situation” in his brief remarks to the audience.
Mr. Trump has embraced Musk’s endorsement, lauding him as “as smart as you get”.

Can we trust US election polls?
Speculation has been rampant regarding Musk’s financial contributions to the Trump campaign, especially after the Republican presidential nominee claimed that Musk was giving him “$45m a month” back in July.
The billionaire refuted this claim, stating on Twitter that his donations were actually “at a much lower level”.
America PAC is just one of the many major political action committees in the United States.
These groups are able to raise and spend unlimited funds to support political candidates, as long as they do not collaborate with the campaigns or directly contribute to them.
America PAC has chosen not to provide any comments regarding the donations.
Musk currently holds the title of the world’s wealthiest individual, with an estimated net worth of $248bn (£191bn), according to Forbes.
