Former Chief of Staff Claims Donald Trump Praised Hitler, Putin, and Kim Jong Un
According to his former chief of staff, Donald Trump expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Putin while serving in the White House. The ex-president also reportedly praised Kim Jong Un and had controversial views on historical figures like Hitler.
Mr Trump, who is currently campaigning for a second term as president, received criticism for his positive remarks about these leaders. General John Kelly, Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, exposes these allegations in a new book written by a CNN journalist.
During his presidency, Trump held meetings with Putin and Kim multiple times and publicly praised the Russian leader as “very, very strong.” His support for Putin caused backlash from US politicians. As the presidential election approaches in November, Trump secured his position as the Republican candidate after winning Super Tuesday, prompting his only remaining rival, Nikki Haley, to end her campaign.
The stage is now set for a potential rematch between Trump and Joe Biden, as neither candidate has officially obtained the required number of party delegates for a majority. Delegates will continue casting their votes in primaries and caucuses across the US until a majority is secured.
