Former Georgia Senator to Co-chair Inaugural Committee with Trump’s Golf Partner

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—President-elect Donald Trump has announced that his inaugural committee will be led by Florida real estate investor Steven Witkoff and former Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler, whom he described as “longtime friends and supporters.”

“This event will mark the beginning of my administration, which will fulfill its bold promises to Make America Great Again,” Trump stated in a press release.

Witkoff, who is also Trump’s golf buddy, was with the president-elect during a second attempted assassination at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida in September.
