Former model accuses Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of sexual assault at his studio in 2003 | Entertainment & Arts Update
A lawsuit filed on Tuesday accuses Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexually assaulting a former model at his New York City recording studio in 2003.
Crystal McKinney alleges that she was a 22-year-old successful model when she met Combs at a restaurant during Men’s Fashion Week in Manhattan.
The federal complaint filed in New York City states that Combs invited McKinney to his recording studio later that night, where she found him drinking and smoking cannabis with other men.
According to the lawsuit, McKinney smoked marijuana that was later discovered to be laced with another substance. She claims she felt as though she was floating and alleges that Combs led her to the bathroom where the assault took place.
After losing consciousness in the studio, McKinney later woke up in a taxi realizing what had happened. Combs has not yet responded to these allegations.

The lawsuit follows the airing of security footage by CNN that showed Combs attacking singer Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. Cassie, Combs’ protege and girlfriend at the time, was the victim of this assault.
Despite his apology in a video released on Sunday, Combs will not face criminal prosecution for the assault on Cassie due to the statute of limitations.
Combs, whose homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security Investigations agents in March, has been accused of physical and sexual violence as well as sex trafficking.
A lawsuit filed by Cassie in November was settled shortly after being filed, and the latest claim against Combs falls under a New York City law allowing accusers to file civil litigation within a specific timeframe.
