GOP Seeks to Exclude Non-Citizens from Census Count

Republican initiatives to prevent the inclusion of individuals residing in the U.S. illegally in the population counts utilized for apportioning congressional seats among states have resurfaced. Four Republican state attorneys general have launched a lawsuit aimed at modifying the decennial census process prior to the commencement of President Donald Trump’s second term on Monday.
