HHS Unveils Significant Changes Under Secretary Kennedy; Officials Provide Testimony in DCA Midair Collision Hearing
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is set to cut approximately 10,000 full-time positions within the Health and Human Services Department and will also be closing several regional offices. These latest job reductions, along with around 10,000 recent voluntary resignations, will bring the total number of full-time employees in the department down to 62,000 from 82,000, according to HHS.
