House GOP Introduces Six-Month Stopgap Legislation to Prevent Shutdown

On Saturday, Republicans, holding the majority in the House of Representatives, revealed their six-month temporary funding bill. If approved by Congress, this legislation would prevent a government shutdown on March 14 and prolong existing government funding until the end of fiscal year 2025.
