The Surf City Wonderland ice skating rink is returning to the Huntington Beach on Nov. 18, transforming the pier into a holiday destination for the second year in a row.

The rink will be in Pier Plaza for a unique, ice-meets-sand experience to ice skate with a view of the ocean. It will be open from Nov. 18 to the 20 and then again from Nov. 25 to Dec. 21 at various times from mid-day to evening.

The rink will be accompanied by live music and other holiday events that will be announced on the city’s social media.

“The City of Huntington Beach is always looking for opportunities to add fun, family-friendly programming to our existing roster of events and activities,” city spokeswoman Jennifer Carey told The Epoch Times.

Tickets are on sale now. Ice skating costs $22 per skater to rent skates and use the rink. Socks and gloves are also available for purchase at the rink for $5 each.

The Anaheim Ducks hockey team and Pier Summit Ski Lodge are sponsors of the program. The rink is provided by Ice-America—which rents and sells portable ice-skating rinks.
