Illinois Governor Pritzker Prohibits January 6 Pardoned Individuals from State Employment

Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois has prohibited anyone involved in the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol from being employed by the state. This decision comes in light of President Donald Trump’s recent executive action, which pardoned or commuted the sentences of most defendants.
