Judge Merchan set to make ruling on Trump’s motion to dismiss business record conviction

Judge Juan M. Merchan announced that he will provide a written opinion on Tuesday regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s appeal to have his conviction overturned. The decision could result in either a new trial being ordered or the indictment being dismissed entirely.
