Justin Timberlake has admitted to a non-criminal traffic violation of driving while impaired after being arrested earlier this year in New York state.
The 43-year-old appeared in court to enter the plea.
As part of the plea agreement, he will make a public safety announcement, pay a fine, and complete community service hours.
The offence of driving while impaired carries a fine and a licence suspension.

He originally pleaded not guilty to a more serious charge of driving while intoxicated, which could lead to jail time and heavier fines.
The singer was arrested after failing to obey traffic laws and displaying signs of impairment while driving.
Reports from the court described his condition as impaired, with bloodshot eyes and poor performance on sobriety tests.

Timberlake, who refused a breath test, denies the allegations and his lawyer argues that he was not intoxicated.
