LA District Attorney Opposes Retrial for Menendez Brothers

The district attorney of Los Angeles stated on Friday that he is against granting a new trial for Lyle and Erik Menendez, who were convicted of murdering their parents in 1989. However, he has yet to decide whether he will back a resentencing request that could potentially result in their release after almost three decades behind bars.
