Lead singer of Crazy Town, Shifty Shellshock, known for hit song “Butterfly,” passes away | US News
The LA Medical Examiner has confirmed that Seth Binzer, the lead singer of Crazy Town who rose to fame with the hit song Butterfly, has passed away at the age of 49.
Binzer, also known by his stage name Shifty Shellshock, co-founded the band in Los Angeles in 1995 with Brett Mazur.
Crazy Town gained popularity for their song Butterfly, which topped the US singles chart and reached number three on the UK singles chart, becoming a popular anthem in the early 2000s.
The cause of his death has not been disclosed.
