After a hard-fought race, London Breed, San Francisco’s first Black female mayor, has conceded to Levi Strauss heir Daniel Lurie. She pledged a smooth transition as he prepares to take over the job. The winner has not yet been officially declared by the Associated Press due to tens of thousand of ballots still being counted.
