LGBT Organization Explains How Gender Ideology is Circulated Among School Children

A video from the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) has highlighted how the organization pushes gender ideology, such as books promoting transgenderism, in schools through a library program.

In the video, Michael Rady, who runs GLSEN’s “Rainbow Library” program, states that they send LGBT-affirming books to schools and libraries for free. “We put a major emphasis on books centered on the voices of trans and non-binary people as well as books that tend to the voices of BIPOC LGBTQ+ people … I know as a former teacher that having high-quality LGBTQ books at my fingertips will allow me to seamlessly integrate this into a reading lesson that I otherwise would be teaching anyway. It’s the first step for getting in front of kids.”

Having an LGBT library “can allow a district or a state to have that first stepping stone to inclusive curriculum.”

Once a Rainbow Library is established at a school, and family members see “all the positive impacts” of it while hearing positive stories of “students feeling affirmed and safe” because of these books, there will be more demand for more change, Rady said.

LGBT Books

Though GLSEN claims to send LGBT books to schools and libraries for free, this does not appear to be the case, at least all the time.

According to a Dec. 27 tweet by parental rights advocate Megan Brock, a local education provider in Pennsylvania, paid GLSEN $10,000 for multiple Rainbow Library books distributed throughout Washington.

Two of the books included in the Rainbow Library are “When Aidan Became a Brother” and “I am Jazz.” Both books focus on young children who “identify” as the opposite sex.

These books are distributed in classrooms to be read by students from kindergarten to second grade. Other books for the demographic include “Peanut Goes For The Gold” and “Pink Is For Boys.”

Rady also quoted an elementary school librarian who said, “I read Peanut Goes for the Gold with a class and many students quickly asked why the author used ‘their’ instead of ‘his/her’. I actually had a student jump in to answer before I had a chance to respond.”

“He shared his personal experience of a cousin using this pronoun and how much he loved that the book did this as well. He said, ‘I cannot wait to tell my cousin about this book,’” the librarian stated.

Pushing a Gender Agenda

Several schools across the United States are encouraging a more covert spreading of this gender agenda among students.

“A discussion about gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning people does not constitute a discussion about human sexuality or family life education and does NOT require parent notification or permission according to the California Education Code,” says a teaching guide for elementary grades from the San Francisco Unified School District.

Seattle Public Schools published a lesson plan asking children from the fourth grade to write a letter providing advice to another child who decided he was a girl at two years old.

In a recent interview with Fox, transsexual activist Buck Angel admitted that “things are accelerating in a way that seems far too fast” with regard to the movement, and that children should medically transition.

“We do show that there is a lot of trauma not being addressed before going to medical and why we are having a large population of detransitioners that the transgender community is trying to hide,” Angel said.

There is not enough research to prove that medically transitioning will alleviate gender dysphoria, he noted. Angel feels mental health should be prioritized and not affirmation therapy.
