Lindsey Graham, Senator in Trump investigation, recommended charges by jury but remains unindicted
A special grand jury aiding the US prosecutor who indicted Donald Trump and 18 others has recommended charging additional individuals, such as senator Lindsey Graham and former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
In a report released on Friday, the Georgia grand jury, examining efforts to overturn Trump’s 2020 election defeat, listed 39 people as potential subjects for indictment, although only 19 have been formally charged.
The nine-page report specifically mentioned Republican senator Mr Graham and Mr Flynn as two of the 20 individuals who were not indicted.
Mr Graham and Mr Flynn have yet to respond to requests for comment from media outlets.
