Loose Bolts Found on Plug Doors of Multiple United Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 Aircraft During Inspections, US News Reports




During inspections, United Airlines has discovered loose bolts on plug doors on multiple 737 Max 9 aircraft.

This discovery comes after The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that all 171 Boeing 737-9 Max aircraft will remain grounded following a mid-air incident where a window and chunk of fuselage blew out of an Alaska Airlines passenger plane.

According to industry publication Air Current, United found loose bolts on at least five panels following the accident over the weekend.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Boeing have both declined to comment on the matter.
