A man who was taken into custody after reportedly carrying Molotov cocktails to the Capitol stated to law enforcement that his aim was to kill House Speaker Mike Johnson, D-La., Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, according to a report by Politico on Tuesday.
