Meghan Celebrates Countdown to Netflix Show with Video of Princess Lilibet | US News
The Duchess of Sussex has celebrated the lead-up to her upcoming Netflix series by sharing an uncommon video of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, enjoying time with “auntie” Serena Williams.
Meghan, 43, shared a clip on her Instagram set to the melody of Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day,” captioning it: “When the aunties come to celebrate… and to play! Love you @serenawilliams”.
The footage featured the duo engaged in a personalized vintage edition of the board game Candy Land, with a charming pink box prominently on display in the background, labeled “Archie & Lili” at the top.
In a follow-up image, Meghan announced: “3 days until the party begins. All are invited @netflix,” accompanied by a red heart emoji.
Princess Lilibet, who is seldom photographed, can be seen in the video sporting pink floral leggings and a matching t-shirt.
The Duchess has maintained a friendship with the tennis icon since their first encounter at the Super Bowl in 2010. Serena attended the royal wedding in 2018, signifying their close bond.
Williams reposted Meghan’s video alongside a black-and-white photo of them embracing on her own Instagram story, adding a heart emoji.
Since returning to social media on January 1, 2025, Meghan has shared more glimpses of her family’s life and personal moments.
She has also released behind-the-scenes footage from her forthcoming eight-part series, ‘With Love, Meghan’, set to premiere on Tuesday, March 4.
