Melania Trump Engages in Discussion with the Queen of Jordan
Future First Lady Melania Trump held a meeting with the Queen of Jordan prior to Inauguration Day.
On Thursday, Melania hosted Queen Rania Al Abdullah in Palm Beach, Florida, where they engaged in discussions and shared a lunch, as per their official comments.
Melania expressed that this transition process feels “quite different” compared to her previous experience.
“The initial transition was tough. We lacked substantial information, which was kept from us by the previous administration. This time, however, I have all the necessary information,” she shared in her Fox News interview.
During Trump’s first term, Melania felt a lack of respect, believing that people often viewed her merely as “the president’s wife.”
“I stand on my own two feet. I am independent and possess my own opinions. I don’t always agree with my husband’s views or decisions,” she stated.
The future first lady also mentioned that she is in the process of assembling her team and described the transition as an “exciting time.”
Trump is scheduled to be inaugurated as the 47th President on Monday, January 20.
