Nancy Pelosi Seeks Reelection in Upcoming Campaign

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has officially filed for reelection in 2026, according to the Federal Election Commission.
Pelosi, representing San Francisco, has been a member of the House since 1987. She held the position of Speaker of the House twice: from 2007 to 2011 and from 2019 to 2023.
Throughout her tenure, Pelosi has led the passing of significant legislation such as Obamacare, stimulus bills, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and COVID relief efforts.
Pelosi was also serving as Speaker during the events of the U.S. Capitol breach on Jan. 6, 2021.
