Nikki Glaser Set to Return as Host for the 2026 Golden Globes
NEW YORK—Following a successful debut as emcee, the Golden Globes have decided to bring back comedian Nikki Glaser to host the 2026 ceremony.
On Thursday, Dick Clark Productions, the organization behind the awards show, confirmed Glaser’s return for the 83rd edition next January. Glaser, who made history as the first woman to host the show by herself, adeptly guided an event she referred to as “Ozempic’s biggest night.”
“This year’s Golden Globes was undoubtedly the most enjoyable experience of my professional life,” Glaser stated. “I’m eager to return, and this time I hope to perform in front of the team from ‘The White Lotus,’ who might finally see my potential and cast me in Season Four as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a mysterious background.”
The Globes, which honored the films “The Brutalist” and “Emilia Pérez” alongside the TV series “Shōgun” and “Hacks,” attracted 9.3 million viewers, as reported by Nielsen, reflecting a 2 percent decrease from the previous year. Similar to this year’s broadcast, next year’s Globes will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
“Nikki Glaser infused the Golden Globes stage with a fresh energy and bold humor this year,” commented Globes President Helen Hoehne. “Her clever wit and dynamic presence established a lively atmosphere for an unforgettable night, making the ceremony truly enjoyable.”
