NTSB Warns Against Speculation Regarding D.C. Crash Causes

The National Transportation Safety Board stated on Thursday that it is unable to speculate on the cause of a deadly midair collision that took place on Wednesday night involving an American Airlines passenger jet and a U.S. military helicopter near Reagan National Airport in the Washington, D.C. area.
