American pop star Olivia Rodrigo has assured fans that she’s “ok” after unexpectedly falling into a stage hole during a performance in Melbourne.
The talented singer and actress was entertaining the crowd at Rod Laver Arena on Monday as part of her Guts World Tour.
While interacting with enthusiastic fans and moving around the stage, she accidentally slipped into the hole, causing a moment of panic among the audience.
Fortunately, she managed to quickly get back out of the hole and reassured everyone by saying: “That was fun. I’m OK. Sometimes there’s just a hole in the stage! That’s all right. OK. Where was I?”
Videos of the incident went viral online, and Olivia even shared it on her TikTok with the hashtag #subtleforeshadowing, jokingly commenting: “I am ok hahaha.”
The hashtag is typically used for videos where a mistake or mishap is repeatedly shown throughout the clip.

The singer is currently on a world tour that kicked off in the US in February and recently thrilled over 50,000 fans in Manila, the Philippines.
She is scheduled to make a return to the UK at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester in June and July of next year, following initial delays due to venue issues.
