Ontario Implements 25% Tariff on US Electricity

A new 25% tariff on electricity exported from Ontario, Canada, to the United States took effect on Monday. Last week, Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced that his province would impose a 25% tax on electricity exports to 1.5 million households in New York, Michigan, and Minnesota.
