Oscar Nominees Smile for the Class of 2025 Photo – Featuring Demi Moore, Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet, and More | Entertainment & Arts News
“Let’s hear it for the Oscar nominees!”
Introducing the Oscars class of 2025, (for the most part) all cheerful and poised for the traditional class photograph.
This event typically occurs several weeks ahead of the ceremony, but was canceled earlier this year due to the wildfires that affected Los Angeles in January.
It’s an opportunity for aspiring newcomers and emerging talent to network with seasoned stars and award show veterans, including Demi Moore, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Adrien Brody, Timothee Chalamet, and Ralph Fiennes.
There’s also an Oscars dinner—along with a red (or rather, cream) carpet before the actual red carpet event. Here are a few additional photos from the occasion.
Best actress nominee Cynthia Erivo assisted fellow nominee Demi Moore with her outfit choice.
Erivo also had a chat with Conclave star and best actor nominee Ralph Fiennes.
One of the nominated films, *Sing Sing*, narrates the story of a group of men incarcerated in a maximum-security prison in New York. Divine G Whitfield (on the left) is portrayed by Colman Domingo, while Clarence Maclin (on the right) plays himself.
Speaking of Domingo, here he is—nominated for best actor for his outstanding work in *Sing Sing*.
“Get me next to the Oscar!” Erivo’s *Wicked* co-star and best supporting actress nominee Ariana Grande was also present at the gathering.
The lovely Zoe Saldana was also in attendance, nominated in the same category. However, her co-star in *Emilia Perez*, Karla Sofia Gascon, a best actress nominee, was noticeably absent following controversy surrounding the resurfacing of some of her past tweets.
Here are the top contenders for the best actor award—*The Brutalist* star Adrien Brody…
… and Timothee Chalamet, recognized for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in *A Complete Unknown*.
The Oscars ceremony is set for Sunday night. Stay tuned to the Sky News website from Sunday afternoon to catch the entire event on our live blog.
