People Protest Expulsion of Legislators at Tennessee State Capital
Protesters gather at the Tennessee Capitol at 4:30 p.m. ET on April 10 afternoon, after the Tennessee House of Representatives expelled two young Democrat legislators and spared a third member on Thursday for breaking decorum during a gun control demonstration at the statehouse last week in the wake of the latest school shooting.
The two expelled members, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson have called for protesters to return to the Capitol when the House is back in session on Monday.
