Police Report: Pregnant Customer Stabbed by Pizza Delivery Woman Over $2 Tip | US News

A pizza delivery woman is accused of stabbing a pregnant customer over a $2 tip, as per reports from authorities in the US.

Brianna Alvelo, 22, faces attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing the victim multiple times at a motel in Kissimmee, Florida.

The victim, along with her boyfriend and their five-year-old daughter, was at the Riviera Motel celebrating a birthday when they ordered a pizza from Marco’s this past Sunday, according to a court document cited by Sky News’ US affiliate, NBC News.

Alvelo delivered the pizza, which was around $33 (£26), and was asked for change from a $50 bill but reportedly did not have any. The woman then searched for smaller bills and ultimately gave Alvelo a $2 tip.

According to police reports, some time later, she heard loud knocking on the door. When she opened it, a man and a woman dressed in black masks forced their way inside, she stated.

The man, armed with a silver revolver, instructed the woman’s boyfriend to enter the bathroom, while the second individual, believed to be Alvelo, produced a pocketknife, the affidavit indicated.

As she turned to shield her daughter, the woman reported feeling a sharp pain in her lower back.

She then “threw her daughter onto the bed and tried to grab her phone,” but Alvelo allegedly seized it and smashed it.

Alvelo then “began attacking her multiple times with the knife,” as per the affidavit. The armed man reportedly shouted that it was time to leave, which halted the assault.

The identity of a man said to have accompanied Alvelo during the incident remains unknown.
