Possible Effect of California Power Outages on Election Day
According to a report by ABC 7 News, Pacific Gas and Electric Co. has issued a warning about potential power shutoffs that could impact around 15,000 customers. The shutoffs are being implemented as a precautionary measure due to the high risk of wildfires. There is a possibility that some outages may occur during Election Day polling hours. The affected areas include parts of 17 counties, including portions of the Bay Area.
