Raising Cane’s Launches Its First Location in the South Bay
The popular fried chicken chain Raising Cane’s, hailing from Louisiana, inaugurated its first location in South Bay at 2394 Evergreen Pl, San Jose, on Tuesday, April 1.
Renowned for its chicken fingers and signature Cane’s sauce, Raising Cane’s has been rapidly growing in the Bay Area since debuting its first outlet in Oakland back in 2022.

Since then, Raising Cane’s has also opened venues in Colma, Hayward, Vacaville, and Fairfield, making its new outpost in East San Jose’s Evergreen Circle Shopping Center the sixth in the Bay Area.

This Raising Cane’s outlet operates daily from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday.
Just a few days post-opening, the restaurant’s drive-through line was reported to be nearly spilling onto the main road. With a considerable number of customers waiting, security personnel were deployed to manage traffic at the shopping center’s entrance.

“See you at the brand new Raising Cane’s?” he commented in the post. “This location is the only spot in San Jose to grab the Caniac Combo—the next nearest one is situated 30 miles away!”
“Not even the rain could deter people from queuing up and enjoying those scrumptious chicken fingers,” he expressed in the video. “I’m thrilled not only to eat here but to witness another business launching in my district… We eagerly await enjoying your chicken fingers together as a community.”
Raising Cane’s is also planning to unveil two additional locations in Southern California within the next month, specifically in Perris and Yucaipa. Furthermore, they have a forthcoming site planned for Stonestown Galleria, a shopping center in San Francisco, slated to open in 2026.
