Reality TV Star Chase Chrisley Allegedly Slaps Twin Peaks Bar Manager in Atlanta
ATLANTA—Reality television personality Chase Chrisley is facing allegations of hitting the manager of a well-known sports bar in Atlanta after he refused to exit the premises.
Chrisley, who rose to prominence through the show “Chrisley Knows Best,” which spotlighted his family, was reportedly intoxicated at a Twin Peaks restaurant on January 6. He allegedly declined to leave when the manager requested, as per an Atlanta police report. It is claimed that he slapped the manager twice in the face, including once while the manager was on a call with 911, based on the released audio of the call.
On Thursday, Chrisley was taken into custody on charges of simple battery and later released on a $10,000 bond. A public relations representative associated with Chrisley via his Instagram account did not provide a response to a request for comment on Sunday regarding the situation.
The police report indicated that the manager described the 28-year-old Chrisley as “very disrespectful and belligerent.” He allegedly ignored multiple requests to leave, with his conduct deteriorating until the incident escalated to the slapping.
Chrisley departed with his driver prior to the arrival of law enforcement. The restaurant provided security footage of the event to the authorities.
Chase’s parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, are currently incarcerated for charges related to bank fraud and tax evasion. In 2022, a jury convicted them of conspiring to defraud community banks out of over $30 million through fraudulent loans. They were also found guilty of evading taxes by concealing their income.
