A Fistful of Dollars is considered a pivotal film in the “spaghetti western” genre.
Eastwood and Leone collaborated on two sequels – For A Few Dollars More in 1965 and The Good The Bad And The Ugly in 1966.
A Fistful Of Dollars was released five years after Eastwood’s breakthrough as an actor on the western series Rawhide.
It follows the story of a mysterious gunfighter who manipulates two feuding families against each other.
