Rescuers capture tranquilized bear after it falls from tree in Pennsylvania | US News
Authorities successfully captured a sedated black bear with a tarpaulin cover as it descended from a tree in a residential area in the US.
Due to the bear taking shelter in a tree in Camp Hill near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, officials had to tranquilize it.
As the events unfolded, students and staff at a nearby school were advised to remain indoors, as reported by Pennlive.com.
Collaborating with public safety and emergency rescue teams, wildlife officials managed to safely capture the bear.
Using a ladder vehicle, fire and rescue workers approached the bear to administer a tranquilizer shot.
With the sedative taking effect, the bear fell approximately six meters onto a large blue tarpaulin cover held by wildlife officials, police officers, and firefighters.
