RFK Jr. Claims U.S. Initiating Major Initiative to Identify Causes of Rising Autism Rates
“By September, we will have identified the cause of the autism epidemic, enabling us to eliminate those exposures,” stated the health secretary.
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that the United States has initiated a “significant” new initiative to investigate the reasons behind the recent surge in autism rates.
“We’ve kicked off an extensive testing and research program that will involve hundreds of scientists globally,” Kennedy remarked on April 10 during a Cabinet meeting in Washington.
“By September, we will have clarity on the factors contributing to the autism epidemic, allowing us to remove those exposures.”
The specific researchers involved in this initiative remain unclear, as the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has yet to respond to inquiries.
Individuals on the autism spectrum face developmental disabilities, exhibiting challenges in communication and encountering issues like seizures. Many seek therapy to enhance their living skills.
“Together, we will eradicate the chronic disease epidemic and ensure our children are safe, healthy, and free from diseases,” Trump declared during his inaugural address.
Trump remarked on April 10 that the high prevalence of autism among children is “a dreadful statistic, and there must be a cause behind it.”
Addressing Kennedy, he added: “Do you think you’ll have a solid understanding soon? There won’t be a bigger press conference than that.”
