Search Underway for 94-Year-Old Man Missing After Eaton Fire
ALTADENA, Calif.—On Wednesday, authorities requested help from the community in their search for a missing at-risk 94-year-old man from Altadena, who lives in a fire-prone area and was reported missing after last being in touch with friends and family Tuesday night.
Edwin Cridlind was last spotted on Tuesday in the 200 block of Wapello Street, having been in contact with loved ones around 7:30 p.m., as per the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
He is described as a 6-foot-tall Caucasian male weighing 172 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a flannel shirt, a white t-shirt, and pajama pants.
Sheriff’s officials have stated that Cridlind lives within one of the Eaton Fire zones, causing increased concern from his family regarding his safety.
