Shelley Duvall, known for her role in The Shining, has passed away at the age of 75.
Duvall passed away in her sleep from complications of diabetes at her home in Blanco, Texas, according to her partner speaking to The Hollywood Reporter.
“My dear, sweet, wonderful life partner and friend has left us. After too much suffering, she is now free. Fly away, beautiful Shelley,” Dan Gilroy said.
Duvall portrayed Wendy Torrance in the iconic 1980 horror film directed by Stanley Kubrick.
