Stowaway Found on Delta Air Lines Flight from New York to Paris Catching US News Headlines
A stowaway was able to travel from the US to France without a ticket and was only discovered once on the flight.
The woman was found on Delta Airlines flight 264 from New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on Tuesday.
According to a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) spokesperson, she managed to bypass two “identity verification and boarding status stations” in New York and successfully boarded the aircraft. The spokesperson also mentioned that she had undergone a full security screening before boarding the plane.
Authorities are unclear about how the woman was able to accomplish this, as it is expected that individuals at the departure gate have cleared the security checkpoint.
Upon arrival in Paris, the stowaway was removed from the aircraft by police officers, as reported by Sky’s US partner network NBC News.
