Supreme Court Upholds Mississippi’s Ban on Voting Rights for Felons




The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday chose not to take on a case regarding Mississippi’s permanent voting ban for individuals convicted of numerous felonies. This policy, established in 1890 during the Jim Crow era, is considered one of the most stringent voting restrictions in the country.
