Susan Smith’s Parole Denied After 30 Years for Drowning Sons

After 30 years, Susan Smith’s plea for forgiveness was not enough to sway the parole board’s decision. They unanimously agreed that she should remain in prison for the infamous murder of her two young sons by driving her car into a lake while they were strapped in their car seats. Smith claimed that God had forgiven her, but the parole board was not convinced.
