President Biden and Donald Trump have recently engaged in the first debate for the 2024 presidential election campaign.
The format of the debate involved each candidate taking turns to speak while their opponent’s microphone was muted, aiming to prevent a chaotic shouting match and interruptions.
This setup revealed distinct differences in the performances of both men.

Mr Trump displayed confidence, assertiveness, and control, even though some of his statements bordered on exaggeration.
Mr Biden, on the other hand, appeared hesitant, occasionally stumbling over words, and even freezing up less than 10 minutes into the debate.
Mr Biden’s only impactful moments were when he lost his composure and attacked Mr Trump for his questionable morals.
