Trump Appoints Jay Clayton as Interim U.S. Attorney for Manhattan




On Wednesday, President Donald Trump announced that Jay Clayton, the former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, will take on the role of interim U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York as the administration works towards securing Senate confirmation for his permanent appointment.
