Trump Backs Florida CFO Patronis for Gaetz’s Congressional Seat

President-elect Donald Trump has given his endorsement to Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, a Republican, in the election to succeed Matt Gaetz in the U.S. House. Gaetz stepped down from his House seat after being nominated by Trump to serve as attorney general in the upcoming administration.
