Alex Bruesewitz, an adviser for the Trump campaign, collaborated with Barron Trump to enhance the former president’s engagement with younger voters.
On the night of December 15, Trump campaign adviser Alex Bruesewitz, 27, collapsed while on stage at the New York Young Republican Club gala.
As the CEO of consulting firm X Strategies, Bruesewitz has been acknowledged for his role in helping the president-elect connect with American youth, which is reflected in the 2024 election results among young males. His consulting firm’s website highlights his steadfast support for President-elect Donald Trump and the principles he
defines as “the values of the new Republican Party.”
Additionally, prominent Trump allies such as Steve Bannon, Nigel Farage, Dan Scavino, and Corey Lewandowski were featured speakers at this 112th annual event.
In footage from the
speech, Bruesewitz was heard
remarking, “I’m forgetting my words,” just before he collapsed onto his podium and fell off the stage.
Supporters promptly rushed to the stage to help him.
The specific nature of the medical issue remains unclear. Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec mentioned in a December 16 post on the social media platform X that he spoke to Bruesewitz backstage, where the young speaker was being “checked out by medical after experiencing a brief fainting spell onstage.”
“All levels are normal,” Posobiec
reported regarding the conscious Bruesewitz, who, as noted by Posobiec, was already making jokes.
According to an update from Jeffrey Clark, a former Justice Department official in contact with Bruesewitz’s associates, the adviser “fainted” once again while at the hospital for observation.
“I’ve just received word from someone with Alex at the hospital that he fainted again while there. He’s currently undergoing tests,” Clark
stated. “He’s too young for all this. Please increase your prayers for Alex!”
Throughout Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, Bruesewitz collaborated with the president-elect’s son,
Barron Trump, to enhance outreach efforts to young voters.
In the final stages of the 2024 presidential campaign, Trump engaged with several popular podcasters, including
Joe Rogan, who boasts millions of followers, as well as Theo Von, Lex Fridman,
Adin Ross, and others. Vice President-elect JD Vance also made appearances on multiple podcasts, including Rogan’s show days after Trump.
Many podcast episodes featuring Trump attracted millions of views, with the Rogan
episode alone achieving 52 million views within just over a month.
Bruesewitz is also the author of “Winning the Social Media War: How Conservatives Can Fight Back, Reclaim the Narrative, and Turn the Tides Against the Left.”
