Trump Introduces $175 Billion Initiative for ‘Golden Dome’ Missile Defense System
The president announced that the new ‘Golden Dome’ missile defense system is expected to be operational before his term concludes.
On May 20, the Department of Defense revealed the design for President Donald Trump’s Golden Dome missile defense initiative, as announced by Trump.
“I’m excited to share that we have officially chosen an architecture for this advanced system that will integrate next-generation technologies across land, sea, and space, including space-based sensors and interceptors,” Trump stated during a press briefing at the White House.
