Trump Sends Holiday Greetings to Trudeau, Greenland, and Chinese Troops in Panama
“If Canada were to become our 51st State, their taxes would be reduced by over 60 percent, and their businesses would instantly double in size,” Trump stated.
President-elect Donald Trump shared a Christmas message on Truth Social, reiterating his views on reestablishing control over the Panama Canal, transforming Canada into the 51st state of America, the annexation of Greenland, and President Joe Biden’s choice to commute the death sentences of nearly 40 prisoners.
Trump also introduced Kevin Marino Cabrera, a Miami-Dade County commissioner and vice chairman of the International Trade Consortium, as his selection for the U.S. Ambassador to Panama.
Trump then extended Christmas greetings to the Canadian prime minister, whom he once more referred to as “Governor Justin Trudeau.”
“If Canada were to become our 51st State, their taxes would be reduced by over 60 percent, businesses would instantly double in size, and they would receive military protection unlike any other country in the world,” Trump wrote.
Additionally, he suggested that hockey legend Wayne Gretzky should take on the role of Canada’s next prime minister.
Trump also conveyed Christmas greetings to the citizens of Greenland, emphasizing that the island is vital for U.S. national security. He asserted that the people of Greenland desired a U.S. presence.
“For many years, we have not invested sufficiently in the Arctic. Now, we are planning to enhance our presence,” he commented.
However, there was one group to whom Trump did not extend Merry Christmas wishes: the 37 federal death row inmates whose sentences were commuted by Biden on December 23, who will now serve life in prison.
“To the 37 most violent criminals, who killed, raped, and plundered like few before them, … I refuse to wish a Merry Christmas … instead, I will say, go to hell!” Trump declared.
“We experienced the Greatest Election in the History of our Country,” he concluded. “A bright light is now shining over the U.S.A., and in 26 days, we will make America great again. Merry Christmas!”
