Trump Signs Initial Executive Orders as the 47th President

President Donald Trump is set to sign more executive actions immediately upon his return to the Oval Office.

Shortly after delivering his speech at the Capital One Arena on January 20, President Donald Trump commenced signing a series of executive orders designed to lay the groundwork for his second term in office.

Among the executive orders he signed were measures for an immediate regulatory freeze, a temporary halt on federal government hiring, a directive mandating federal employees to report back to full-time in-person work, and an inflation mandate for all Cabinet members.

The actions he executed following his address also aimed to withdraw the United States from the Paris Climate Accord, safeguard free speech against government censorship, and terminate what he termed the “weaponization of government” for political persecution.

In addition, he announced plans to revoke 80 of former President Biden’s executive actions and said he would seek to dismiss federal bureaucrats involved with those regulations.

“I’m revoking nearly 80 destructive, radical executive actions from the previous administration. They’ll all be null and void within roughly five minutes,” Trump stated.

The president is anticipated to sign further executive actions as soon as he arrives at the Oval Office.
