U.S. Authority Expected to Raid Migrant Camp by Mexico Border

Ahead of the expiration of Title 42, a Trump-era regulation that restricted asylum-seekers from crossing the southern U.S. border on public health grounds, it is expected that law enforcement officers of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection will conduct a raid of a large migrant tent camp near the border on May 9. Agents of the U.S. Border Patrol are expected to assist in the raid.
